As far as I know… the only safe way to remove ransomware is to either pay (which can’t guarantee your data) or wipe the drive (which nukes everything, including the ransomware. Good luck!
I assume you have fuel, and that the car starts. Is it when you press the gas down? Because if so, it’s something to do with the throttle system. Maybe a bad/faulty pedal position sensor, something in the wiring, (hopefully not the engine computer), or the throttle body just not doing its job. Consult these pages for more details: https://cartreatments.com/car-wont-accelerate-symptoms-and-reasons/ https://www.youcanic.com/guide/hyundai-wont-accelerate-due-throttle-position-switch-problem Good luck!
I’d suggest giving the paste a year or two. Most thermal pastes have a life of around 3-5 years, depending on the heat they’re dealing with. Most laptops have the heatsinks facing the bottom, so replacement is easier. And if it’s on the other side (like Apple devices; ugh) then it’s a !&&* of a time replacing it. Just be careful, don’t take risks, and you should be fine! Good luck!
If you’ve changed your display recently before, chances are you no longer have a water-sealing gasket and adhesive, which probably means water got into the display (or even worse: under the chips) Could also be logic board, given that the phone fell into a literal lake. I don’t know exactly how to fix it, but it’s worth a Google.
Sounds like the internal power supply blew it’s top! Maybe check the PSU and see if there’s any burnt components (hint: it’ll probably be black) If not, check for any debris under all boards. Good luck!
