Unless you are a skilled electrical engineer with state of the art equipment and vast knowledge of the inner workings of the iPhone 4 mobo, there's not a chance that you'll actually be able to repair it. Your best bet is to see if they're for sale somewhere online, or just get a new phone.. Good luck -Luc
Don't pry it!! You'll probably end up breaking it! Instead, get a hot air hairdryer or a heat gun and heat up the area where the adhesive is for a while. Use something plastic to see if its loose, then once it is, it'll come off pretty easy. I had to do the same thing when my Atrix's screen shattered. Good Luck -Luc
Ed, From what I know, Apple doesn't sell parts. You'll have to get it through a different service. Normally spare iPhone parts can be found on websites like dealextreme.com ; if the 4GS parts aren't on there already, they will be eventually. Not sure about the timeframe. Apple will charge you some obnoxious amount that will likely be more than what you paid for the phone, if you didn't pay full price (as in you got it w/ a contract). If its really bad, this might be a good option though. Good Luck -Luc
