Did you try to take both cameras and set them right beside the sink module and reset them. If both problems occurred at the same time my guess would be a Wi-Fi issue
If you are referring to the USB plug inside the back of the camera. I would say you are SOL. The cameras does not come apart so buy another camera. If you're talking about the cord that plugs into the USB connection. Then all you have to do is buy another cord. Problem solved
I solved this problem with a camera pointed mostly down. While I was not able to open it to clean the moisture out, I did take the back cover off and place it in front of a fan. Which dried it out after 5 hours. As far as keeping it from happening again I just covered the back with Duct tape. Problem solved
