The ATI HD 2600 is definitely a substantial upgrade to the 2400. And would certainly be worth it if you regularly exceed the 2400's maximum capabilities. Unfortunately there is a bit of drama involved. You'll have to update your firmware to get the system to recognize the card. Though that shouldn't be too difficult, as the system should prompt you with the download upon installation. Otherwise it's nothing that can't be found with a quick google search. Here's the Guide on how to install your new graphics card if you want it: iMac Intel 20" EMC 2133 and 2210 Video Card Replacement And good luck.
더 읽어보기Sounds like you may have damaged something on your way in when you replaced the home button. I would start again, using this Guide to disassemble the phone and then ensure that all the cables and connectors were in tact and undamaged. Then I'd clean the phone as instructed to ensure no oils from your hands remained. Then I'd put it back together very carefully and hope it worked. If the problem continues to persist or you find that you've damaged something, you'll have to replace it before the phone will work properly again. Hopefully the damage isn't too severe and it remains salvageable.
더 읽어보기Short answer? No. A new Motherboard wouldn't fix the issue. The microphone is actually soldered onto the Dock Connector, not the Motherboard. As such replacing the Motherboard wouldn't do anything to address the issue as the broken microphone will remain. The removal and installation guide for the Dock Connector is located here: iPhone 4 Dock Connector Replacement iFixit even sells the replacement part: iPhone 4 (GSM/AT&T) Dock Connector So if you feel comfortable replacing the Dock Connector yourself, that is your best bet. It isn't a particularly easy task, but it's certainly doable.

This one is the full break down of the iPod Touch 4th Gen, including all the steps you'll need to fully access the volume/lock ribbon cable: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVVgKqimp... And this one deals with the removal of that ribbon cable, and the bit you're having trouble with, directly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QS0OmORQF... Either unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your skills and equipment, the ribbon cable requires a bit of soldering to replace. Hope that's good news! And best of luck.
더 읽어보기Well, replacing them will guarantee a fix and guarantee that no further problems arise. Fixing the wires yourself will cause any variety of problems if you don't do it exactly right. And thus end up costing you a lot more money to replace the hardware they have damaged. Personally, I'd replace them. If you fix the wires incorrectly it will cause problems and I just wouldn't feel comfortable with my abilities to not screw some minor thing up. However, if you feel absolutely confident with your soldering and repair abilities you can certainly fix them yourself. But I wouldn't recommend attempting it unless you have a lot of direct experience repairing and working on computers, have screwed up a couple so you know what not to do, and know precisely what you're doing.
더 읽어보기The iFixit guides recommend simply following the disassembly guides in reverse in order to put rebuild your tech. I've found that works for me in almost every case. But whenever I have a bit of trouble my first stop is always Youtube. A lot of techies have posted tutorial videos there and, if you're lucky, you can find a video reassembly guide of your machine and specific component.
더 읽어보기Yeah, it can be replaced. Here is the iFixit guide documenting the steps: iPhone 3GS Logic Board Replacement And it'll work just fine as long as you install it correctly and work carefully.

더 읽어보기Plug your iPod into the computer with iTunes open, reset the iPod by holding Home and the Power Button down together for about 10 seconds, then release the Power button and continue to hold down Home for another 10 seconds. That'll put it into DFU mode and bring it up on iTunes ready to be restored. Then you just redownload all the music you want. And boom, you're golden.
더 읽어보기Sounds to me like you've got two problems. For the first, I recommend visiting your local department store and picking up some adult sized diapers. This will help you avoid similar mistakes in the future. For the second, I've got good news and bad news. The good news is you still have a chance to save your phone. Use the following iFixit guides to disassemble your phone: iPhone 4 CDMA And then use this guide to repair any possible water damage (if you were as drunk as I imagine you must have been it'll have been pretty close to water anyway): Repairing iPhone Liquid Damage The bad news is, even with this process, your phone might not have survived its cruel and unusual ordeal. At that point the best thing you can do is reassemble the phone, cross your fingers, turn it on, and hope it comes back to life. Best of luck.
