This is true! I did it once (a few seconds ago) and will never try again. The %#*@ thing was very clean. (There was one or two cat hair stuck. I pull them without having to open the toggle stick sensor.
If you’re having trouble separating those part, this might be because of the blue pull tab. Make sure the pull tab is pushed through the hole to free the motherboard and the midframe assembly from the front panel.
Oh! That explains why I stripped the middle screw. What’s a support post?
I stripped the %#*@ screw in the middle. (orange highlighting) It’s a black head and the T8 Torx Security head doesn’t work! I have a CUH-7115B. I think it’s a regular T8 or some kind of Hex head. ? I don’t know what to do now!! :(
I just want to put a new battery. (I don’t care about saves.) Which steps can I skip? This is not idiot-proof enough. :(
I just finished replacing the thermal paste on my CPU . I put a 1 mm-wide vertical line on a clean CPU and put the cleaned copper plate back. I think I’ll buy a new battery set too. I’m glad I made that maintenance on my MacBook Air because it was hot and the fan was draining the battery. (The Mac is still working… :P )
Would it work in Canada?
Yeah… I notice the full reports are not a thing anymore… Bring them back, please.
Do we need an adapter for storage thinner than 9.5mm?
How do we reinstall MacOS?
