i would contact the warranty team. doing between 10-15 iphone screens a day, i have noticed a couple screens a week come in and do this. i send them back through my supplier for their warranty, and they replace them within the week. its usually just an issue with the milling.

The note 4 is a pocket type device. If you go on youtube there is a lot of “Use a hairdryer” models, but unfortunately, this results in unfortunate replacement failures. As a Certified Samsung Warranty Technician, i can suggest tools to use for the procedure that are professional, but acquiring them would cost more than just replacing the phone. The Screen needs to be heated substantially, where it is uncomfortable to hold, before seperating it from the housing. i Use suction cups and lift it, but most guids that say use a hairdryer or heat gun suggest picks, as the heat is not as even with this procedure. essentially you are doing one of the most difficult repairs samsung has, and i would honestly suggest taking it to a trusted technician to do it. if you insist on doing it yourself, below is a guide, but they always make it look easier than it really is for pocket type devices. usually the camera lens has seperated from the camera’s circuitry, and exposed the camera to light. overexposure will fry out the camera and make it blurry. best option here is to replace the camera flex. (fixes it the majority of the time for me)

there is absolutely a possibility the part you got is not Spen compatible, OR that the connection was left loose. you really cant tell without being inside it, and fiddling around. An electromagnetic field is generated from a circuit behind the screen. The S Pen picks this up and uses it to power itself and figure out its position relative to the screen. It sends this, along with information from the S Pen button and the nib at the end, back to the Note. This Pen Digitizer may not have been included with the screen you got, though with the new display technology, there is no way to tell without trying a new OEM Screen to see if it fixes the issue. I would start by opening the device, disconnecting the screen related connectors, cleaning the board with Isopropyl, and reassembling. While the device is open, compare the new screen’s connectors and flex layout with the original, and note any differences.

There is a possibility it could be the cable, as well as the PSU itself. the cheapest way to fix it, would be to take your soldering iron, and jump it, but this would also make future repairs more difficult. Try a second Multi-Wire branch, and if that doesnt work, solder a new connector to the board of your PSU. then try a new PSU. if all of these are not fixing your issues, then you have bigger fish to fry

I'm not too sure on macs as a whole, and which OS's are compatible with which devices. id suggest running the device through a sonic wash if you have the tools. clean out any shorts from the corrosion. you can also use deoxidizing solution as well. (i prefer De-Oxit). if you dont have access to these tools, you should resort tohiring a technician that has invested in them. if you really dont want to do that, you can always use isopropyl (99%) and a clean toothbrush to scrub at the board. (gently but diligently) and hope it gets all the corrosion. id also suggest soaking the board in it for about 10 minutes before the scrub.

3 possibilities. 1) if you have updated your software since the new screen assembly has been installed, it would have wiped the paired serial from its database. this will cause no home button to allow the touch id to function properly. 2) the screen assembly should not be coming with a home button. if it is not the original home button, it will not work. 3) damage to the home button. it is possible the OEM home button may have taken some trauma to it during the drop, or the repair, causeing a lack of function
