I'm Kelly Boss, and yes, that is my real last name. It's pretty boss, I know. I live in San Luis Obispo on the beautiful Central Coast of California, and love working at iFixit! iFixit is changing the world one toolkit at a time and I am excited to be a part of it. The day I learned that I could fix my beloved iPod (and I did it!) was perhaps one of the greatest days of my life and I thank iFixit for that.
I am an adventurer, a lover of all things outdoors, and an avid consumer of anything from The Mountain Air, REI or Patagonia (let's just say I love GEAR!). Here's me on a backpacking trip in Big Sur:
I am a fitness fanatic and have completed 2 triathlons and can't wait for the next one.
I married my high school sweetheart, Bobby, and my favorite thing is going on road trips with him to find new adventures.
I believe that life is meant to be lived simply and the world is meant to be explored. Don't take yourself too seriously and remember, adventure can be found just outside your front door!

사용자에게 답변하기: The turning on my skateboard is messed upHi there! Seems like an odd problem you are having. Here are some basics for turning that may help: Applying pressure to your toes will allow you to turn in the direction your toes are facing. The board will tip slightly in that direction and the board should smoothly turn. To stop making the turn simply center your balance on the board, keeping your feet flat. To turn in the opposite direction, put pressure on your heels and your board will tip back to make a smooth turn toward your heels. It is possible that the trucks may be too tight making turning difficult. Loosening the large center bolts on the trucks will loosen the trucks making the board more responsive to weight shifts for turning. To ensure your trucks are on correctly, check out this guide: Skateboard Skateboard Trucks Replacement. Hope this helps. Good luck!
사용자에게 답변하기: Battery Not Recognized After SpillYou cannot replace the battery connector because it is soldered to the logic board. However, you can replace the entire logic board but it may be much more costly. You can take it to the Apple Store but they may deny you due to the water damage but it's a worth a try.
사용자에게 답변하기: My iMac died with a bangSounds to me like a power supply issue. Did it smell electrical or metallic? I would recommend opening up the iMac and checking the capacitors on the power supply. There may be some bulging capacitors on the power supply that have either exploded or have failed. Based on the information provided in the comments, I would recommend replacing it with this power supply. Hope that helps!
