I have a 13” Mid 2013 MacBook Air 1.7 GHz i7 with 8GB. I replaced it with a 2015 MacBook Air 1.6 GHz i5 8GB RAM logic board, it worked for the most part. The guest ID never shuts off when shutdown was activated. Also had the “not found” icon of OS folder appear on first few attempts of boot. The replacement was in error since I ordered a 1.7 GHz i7 8 GB unit but not until I did About This Mac to check memory amount did I realize I was sold and installed a 2015 i5 1.6 GHz logic board.
Ive applied this to a MBP 15” A1707 and it worked. Now when i open the laptop display a battery level appears for a few seconds. I’d rather see that than have the mac auto start ans so i will not be re-enabling auto-boot function
I had a problem using the ifixit tool kit to remove the 16 antenna screws (striped one badly) so i ordered the Wiha drivers from Germany and found the ONLY bit that would fit and thus remove (press down firmly while rotating driver) the pentalobe screws was the 1PLx40 driver, not the 2PL as many have said here. 2PL was just too big to even fit in the screw head.

This is the answer to Conrado Pinto's question. As mentioned in the guide, the RAM is soldered to the logic board so you can't upgrade it.
Conrado Pinto didn’t ask about the ram he asked about the SSD.
