First, restart the laptop to refresh the cursor. If that doesn't work, go to Control Panel and click on Mice and Pointing Devices. Double click on touchpad and go to Driver's Tab. Click Update Driver and RIGHT click on Touchpad select UNINSTALL. Then, go to USB controlls and click UNINSTALL on everything except the category itself. Then reboot the machine. This should refresh the TouchPad Driver and USB stack. Then, go to the System site and download the latest touchpad drivers. Save the file and run it as admin.
