This may sound like a dumb question, was the internet working before you did the factory reset? There are many things that be causing your problem. -I would first check to make sure your internet connection is really working. Are other computers connected to the same router or access point able to get on the internet? Sometimes the icon or network description can be misleading if you are connected to a network, but the network is not connected to the internet. -If other devices using the same internet connected network are able to get on the internet correctly I would start checking the drivers. Check the device manager and see if any of the network adapters have a warning symbol or exclamation point next to them. If so they driver needs to be installed.

I can't guarantee anything. What I would do is plug the device in for a while to make sure it's charged, press the power button to turn it on like you normally would, and then connect it to a computer and see if the computer lists it as a recognized device. If the computer detects it and everything else seems okay, it may be worth replacing the screen. Otherwise, these are relatively cheap tablets. Ours was given to us for "free" when signing up for a new contract.

I know this is an old question. I ordered the glass and LCD screen beneath it as a unit. $45 on an on-line auction site, did the repair for free! :-)

Mine did not have any adhesive.

Mine did not have the piece of tape.

The black plastic piece that runs across the top is very thin and is stuck on with very strong tape.

Read somewhere the copper acts as the digitizer for the S-pen.

Has anyone had any success swapping out the glass on the display?
