That really depends on the size of your ram. If you assume a typical ram to be between 45-160 KG, then I think you could get an extra 200-300 GB of storage. However, you'd need to check that your motherboard has the capacity to take the extra ram. And don't forgot that it's a lifetime commitment; you'll need to feed it, pay vet bills, and generally look after it like any other pet.
You can't send things in to be fixed by iFixit, it's more of a resource where you can try to fix things yourself. If you do an Internet search, you can probably find repair shops in your local area who could have a look for you.
The printer doesn't use ink, the paper that goes through it reacts to the temperature of the print head, a bit like a till receipt. You might need to clean the print head, or it could be a faulty print head
