Hello, I am assuming that you guys want to replace the cracked glass and not the LCD itself, since that is just too expensive and difficult and probably not worth it. Removing the backplate is relatively easy (see for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7PP4tCJ...). Removing the glass from the frame is rather hard because as NJH mentioned it is attached to the front of the LCD with a really hard glue. It should be removed with heat and A LOT OF PATIENCE. Have a look at this and you will see how hard it is to remove the glass without breaking or scratching the LCD (this is for an older model but the process is simillar): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogVhYYak... If you are not patient and have not done something similar in the past, don't try this.
