Clock shows the wrong time
‘ ‘Although it is an automatic clock, the time is wrong’ ‘
Check the switches on the back
The switches should be placed in the correct position, depending on your specific location and whether or not is it daylight savings time.
All switches are correct
Hold down the time button on the top until the display begins to blink. Use the plus and minus buttons to manually set the time.
Buttons are unresponsive
Buttons do not move when pressed
In this case, it is likely a loose part or some substance has gotten under the button and is preventing movement. If brute force does not solve the problem, the device should be opened and the button area inspected. Once you remove the board from under the buttons, there is nothing that will damage the device that isn’t just superficial. Clean around the button and try to find what is causing the issue and clear it out. Since there are no electrical parts or anything connected, feel free to use force. The only thing that could break is the button itself, but it is pretty sturdy. Just be cautious if you see a lot of bending of the plastic.
Check how many buttons do not work
One button does not work
If it is only one button that is unresponsive, the problem will be with the sensory pad that detects the button being pressed.
Multiple buttons do not work
If multiple buttons do not work, the issue is likely a damaged board, or connection between the board the buttons are on, and the main board that controls the display.

Display does not light up
Check the power source
The batteries may be dead or the plug is not properly placed in the outlet. If both power sources are connected properly and the display still does not work, the problem is internal, likely due to an issue with the connection from the main board to the display.
Alarm does not go off
If the alarm is not sounding, it is likely a damaged speaker. The connecting wire from the speaker to the board could be loose or disconnected, or the speaker could be blown. Both of these issues are internal, and the device will need to be opened to further inspect the issue. A replacement speaker may be needed.
Display partially works
There may be a crack or a wiring issue within the display board. You will need to take apart the device to inspect further.

Does not pertain. Clock is and has been fast by more than 10 minutes forever. Pressing the SET button makes the clock go back to what I assume to be the Year 2020. Pressing either + or - when the first numeral blinks simply results in going back to the 2020 position. There is no way to set the second set of numbers that I can see. Changing time zones simply changes the hour displayed and leaves the inaccurate minute indicator numbers the same inaccurate amount of minutes.

There would be no way to correct that kind of damage if it were encountered. I might also add that it does not seem to be possible to set an ALARM time. Nothing changes.

My clock shows incorrect time by 5 minutes. I cannot find a way to adjust the minutes - only the hours.

I think there are a different models of this clock out there. Same look, but different button names. On mine, the buttons are Alarm, +, -, and DST. I’ve seen pictures where DST is labeled Time Set. I’m sure people who have that version aren’t having trouble since the button is correctly labeled. Mom has this clock and it’s been 8 minutes fast for years. I finally figured it out.
LONG Hold the DST button down. Eventually, the display will show the hours flashing. From there hit DST again to move to minutes and you can adjust with the +/- buttons. When the time is right, back away and it will resume normal operation after a few seconds with the new time.
Pressing DST seems to be inconsistent though, so if you hit it and it shows doF or doN, then you need to hold it longer. That’s the Daylight Savings Time indicator. F for ofF and N for oN. Dumb, but it is what it is. Wait for it to go away and then long press DST again to get to time adjustment.
