Alcatel Go Flip 4 Frozen Screen

If your Alcatel Go Flip 4 screen is unresponsive, displays an error page, or only shows a white or black screen—and the phone does not power off or respond to keypad input—then follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Force the phone into restarting by holding down the button on the right-hand side for 10-15 seconds. After waiting 2 minutes, check if the screen is still frozen. If it is still frozen then try removing the battery and reinserting it into the phone. To remove the battery, insert a sharp object into the indent on the bottom right side of the phone. Once you have taken off the bottom casing of the phone you have access to the battery. Take out the battery with the same sharp object and wait 10 seconds before reinserting the battery and clicking the casing back to it's place. Then turn the phone back on by pressing the top right red button on the keypad and leaving it pressed until it vibrates.

Check for the amount of storage used by finding the storage settings. Locate the storage tab on the home menu and then select the “Clean up storage” button. Here, sort and select certain tabs to view the storage they take up. To clear the whole data on a certain tab, select the dash line above the power button. Delete any apps taking up too much storage or transfer any bigger files onto SD cards or computers.
