Drained or Bad Battery

Charging Component Failure
If the phone does not turn on and does not charge, it could also be charging component failure. The micro-USB cable or wall adapter may be damaged and failing to charge the phone. In this case, charge the phone with a different cable, wall adapter and outlet for about 15-20 minutes. If the phone does NOT turn on, it is possible that the battery is bad and it will need to be replaced.
Dirty/Damaged Charging Port
If the phone does not turn on and does not charge, there could be lint or debris in the charging port that prevents a solid connection with the charging component. In this case, use a toothpick or compressed air to gently remove debris from the charging port and re-try charging.
Motherboard Damaged
If the phone has been dropped or exposed to water previously, the internal hardware (like the motherboard) or battery may be damaged. In this case, you may need to replace the motherboard entirely.
