What do I do if I dropped my camera and the lens are acting up? Whenever I turn it on now the screen says
“lens error
will shutdown automatically
restart camera”
and then the lens start to retract and go back, like in and out. And sometimes it makes a clicking noise like something’s stuck in there. Please help. My mother gave me this camera. Even though the company probably doesn’t make these anymore, It holds a lot of value to me. Thank you and God Bless.

My camera is doing the same thing. Were you ever able to fix it?

I have the same problem. Didn’t drop it though. It just started doing that one day. Manual says dust got in the lens. Tried using air spray but no luck. Hope someone offers a solution. It is a nice camera.

My LCD screen remains black and does not display images, as far as those intended to photograph, or on the SD memory card. The settings are all displayed on the screen as usual, (Flash, power, photo/video, etc). All menus are displayed normally and can be adjusted. I have replaced the battery, and changed the SD card, no change. Suggestions? Solutions?
