The battery may be too low for the headphones to properly connect. Try plugging in the headphones using the provided micro-USB charger until the the light by the power connection port turns green.
System Software
This is most likely due to the software that can be addressed in the Corsair Utility Engineering (CUE) software that accompanies the headphones.
To troubleshoot this:
- Conduct a repair of the CUE that can be found in the Add/Remove Programs.
- If that does not work, create a new EQ by pressing the ‘+” button lower everything.
- If nothing changes, try to repair the installation in the Add/remove programs.

Static Noise
Persistent static sound on one or multiple programs.
Operation beyond headphone range
You may be listening too far from the wireless dongle or something is obstructing communication between the headphones and the dongle. Try plugging in the wireless dongle to another closer point or use the dongle extender included with the headphones. Simply plug the dongle into the extension port and plug the extension cable into your device.
Inconsistencies in System Settings
Static sounds could be a result of inconsistencies is system settings, faulty hardware, or a software bug.
- Make sure microphone check is off in CUE settings.
- Try different USB ports and different devices to determine if the static is due to an issue with your device or the headphones.
- Continued static sounds on multiple devices isolates the problem with the headphones. This could point to a problem with the microphone firmware which can be adjusted in the CUE settings until the problem is resolved.
For further instructions, see these forum posts by a COSAIR Representative.
Unprompted switch to Stereo or Bootloader

I dropped my Corsaid VOID headset, and now when I place the mic boom in the down position, it does not activate the microphone, it only activates somewhere up and when the boom is held outward a bit. Is there a switch I can swap out?

I updated the void pro and when the update finished they stopped working and I have tried the method of the mute button and the one of this article and nothing happened. I dont know if my headsets are in bootloader mode or if it is an unknown problem. Now in the iCUE software in the part of devices it appears me Generic Headset and not Wireless Void Pro RGB, it says me to connect a usb for it to update but i connect it to the headset and nothing happens. I think it is bc the headsets dont turn on. Please someone help!

I seem to be having a similar issue. Just got the new headset and plugged it in to charge. A red light came on. Tried to connect it though the wireless dongle and nothing has worked. Now the light wont even turn on when plugged in. Even if I plug it into the wall.

Any tutorial on servicing the charge port? I was hoping to convert it to something stronger female port as well. Maybe USB-c? Not sure which would be ideal.

My headset suddenly decided to stop charging after 3 years of not-so heavy use. Y'all just helped to keep it going. Much appreciated. The red light is back!
