The Laptop Isn't Powering On

The laptop isn't showing any signs of life.

Faulty Power Adapter

Ensure the charger is working by testing it on a working laptop and see if its charging. If it's not charging then the power adapter is at fault.

The Battery Is Not Connected Properly

Ensure the battery is connected to the motherboard as it could get disconnected from movement. If it shows signs of a swollen battery, immediately replace it.

RAM Installed Improperly

Make sure the RAM was installed properly. Sometimes during the installation process, the amount of pressure that was used to install the RAM may not be enough.

The Laptop Overheats

The laptop has cooling problems and is heating a lot.

Faulty Fans

Your fans could've possible had some type of failure that made them stop working which means it won't be able to cool down the laptop to save temperatures. It's recommended that you replace the fans.

Dust in the Vents

The vents outside the laptop could have too much dust inside, preventing them from pushing out the hot air. This obstructs the cooling system. It is recommended to deep clean the vents or spray the dust out the vents with air once in a while.

Thermal Paste Troubles

Thermal paste is a huge essential but overtime it degrades, drys out, and more, so once in a while its recommended to replace the thermal.

The Battery Depletes Fast

The laptops battery doesn't last long

Faulty Battery

As time goes on, the battery's health starts to deplete, which means that the life of the laptop is shortened. This is a simple fix as all you need to do is replace the battery with a new one.

The Screen is Cracked or Damaged

The laptop's screen has visible lines, patterns, or back spots.

Broken Screen

When you have a broken screen, there isn't much you can do. You would need to replace the screen with a brand new one.

No Audio

The laptop's audio isn't outputting anything from speakers or headphones

Speakers Inside the Laptop Are Faulty

The speakers inside the laptop can become worn out or damaged due to various reason such as water seeping into the laptop's speaker or overusing it at high volumes. In such cases you would need to replace them with new ones.

The Speaker Was Disconnected

This is a simple fix; all you need to do is open the laptop, locate the speakers, disconnect the cable, and then reconnect it.
