Are your Gamesir X4 Aileron triggers not responding to input? Use this troubleshooting guide to help diagnose why.
1) Calibration Required
Cause: The triggers need a manual reset from time to time.
You can do this by holding the left bumper, Xbox home button, and the right bumper until the indication of light begins blinking. Once this blinking begins, you then need to push down both triggers 3 times each which will cause the LED to flash red.
2) Incorrect Mode
Cause: The controller may be set to an incorrect mode.
There are many different gaming modes for this controller. To ensure that you are in the right mode, there are a few ways. First, if the light next to the Xbox button is Blue, you are in the Xbox input mode. To switch to Xbox mode, you can hold the Xbox button and B for 5 seconds. To switch to HID mode, hold the Xbox and A button for 5 seconds.
3) Hardware Fragility
Cause: Internal spring/ hook snapping or coming loose.
You can determine this by the trigger feeling loose, having no resistance, or not returning to the original position. If the trigger is physically broken, you may attempt to replace it manually by buying a new trigger from Game sir support. To replace this part, you can follow the following guide.
