HP EliteBook Folio G1 Not Powering On

If you open and press the power button of your HP EliteBook Folio G1, and it does not turn on as expected, follow the instructions provided.

The laptop powers on but cannot load Windows, possibly due to a corrupted operating system or a failing storage drive.

1. Open the BIOS
   • Press the ESC key repeatedly to start

3. Check for damage

1. Perform a hard reset
   • To perform a hard reset on your device, press and hold the power button for 15 seconds. Be sure that the AC Adapter is unplugged.

Damage to the charging port prevents proper power delivery.

1. Inspect the charging port
   • Check the charging port for any bent pins, debris, or signs of physical damage.
   • If damaged, have the charging port professionally repaired or replaced.
