During normal use, the computer shuts itself off suddenly. The bottom of the laptop and the keyboard area are hot, and the fan may have been running loudly up until the laptop shuts off.

Dusty Fans

The HP Pavilion 15-ba003ds is designed to efficiently transfer heat away from the processing unit with the fans equipped on the side of the frame by the keyboard. When this is not the case, the laptop is suffering from overheating and will not operate correctly. One reason is that the fans may be filled with dust from use, and may not be working efficiently. You can refer to this guide to fix that issue.
