When your speaker is on and working, the audio tends to buffer or come out in segmented. Follow these steps to get your speaker's audio working again.
Bluetooth Range or Interference
If you move too far from your connected device, the Bluetooth signal weakens and the audio may cut out. The maximum range is about 33 feet (10 meters).
- Keep your phone or paired device in the same room as the speaker.
- Avoid physical barriers (walls, furniture, or electronics) between the speaker and device.
- If interference persists, try turning off other Bluetooth devices nearby.
Connection Issues
Sometimes the Bluetooth connection itself may become unstable or corrupted. Which can affect the audio.
- On your device, open Setting > Bluetooth > Paired Devices.
- Find Heyday Wireless Speaker, then select Forget Device.
- Turn the speaker off, then on again to enter pairing mode.
- Reconnect your phone or device.
- Play audio to test the connection.
Low Battery
A weak battery can cause distortion or audio dropouts.
- Charge the speaker for at least 30 minutes to an hour using a reliable charger (preferable the one the speaker came with).
- After charging, test the audio.
- Try a different cable or power source if the issue continues.
Audio Sync Issues
Sometimes, audio may play sightly out of sync with video (like a lip-sync delay) when using Bluetooth. This happens because wireless audio takes a moment to process and transmit from your device to the speaker. The delay can become noticeable depending on your device, app, or Bluetooth codec.
- Stay with the speaker's range (33 feet/10 meters).
- Minimize Bluetooth interference.
- Use Low-Latency Mode (if available) :Some phones, apps, and computers have audio settings like "Audio Codec" or "Low Latency Mode"-enable these for faster sync.
- Try a wired connection using the AUX cord located on the bottom side of the speaker.
