The LG G Pad F 8.0 Will Not Charge
The tablet does not charge when it is plugged in.
Faulty Charging Cord
A faulty charging cord could prevent the device from being charged. The charging cord may be damaged either internally or externally. The best solution is to replace the cord. Ensure that the cord is a micro-USB cord.
Charging Port May Be Broken
The charging port may have wear and tear over time as it is being used regularly. Also, an insecure connection could lead to a broken charging port. The port is designed for micro-USB cables connections. The connection must be firm and sturdy. If the charging port is broken, the charging port must be replaced.
Drained/Bad battery
If your LG G Pad F 8.0 won't turn on, especially if it has not been used recently, you may simply have a drained battery. Plug your LG G Pad F 8.0 into your computer or AC adapter and see if anything happens. Ideally, your LG G Pad F 8.0 will recognize it has been connected to a power source and charge its battery.

The LG G Pad F 8.0 Rear Camera Is Broken
Your rear camera will not take photos or takes bad quality photos.
Blurred Image
The camera may produce a blurry image because the camera lens may contain dust or dirt. Apply a few drops of lens cleaning solution to a lens tissue or microfiber cloth. Using a circular motion, gently remove oil, fingerprints, and grime from the lens surface, working from the center outward. Clean the camera lens thoroughly with a sanitizing wipe followed by a microfiber cloth.
Shattered Camera Lens
Check for any cracks on the camera lens. If you see any cracks or unfixable damages, the camera lens will need to be replaced.

The Lg G Pad F 8.0 Display Screen Is Not Working
Your screen does not turn on or there is only a fraction of an image.
Fractured Display Screen
Screen must be replaced and is not able to be repaired. Steps on replacing your screen can be found on the guide here.
Phone Screen Will Not Turn On
Holding the POWER button down for 3 seconds should power on the tablet. Check to make sure it is charged. If not, try to factory reset the tablet by using the instructions provided in your manual.

The LG G Pad F 8.0 Sounds Distorted Or Muted
The sound from the tablet may be distorted or muted when the volume is up.
Dirty Speaker
Dirt and debris can get in your speaker overtime. Clean the speaker by using condensed air spray and wiping the speaker with a microfiber cloth.
Broken Speaker
Make sure the tablet is updated to its latest version. Try powering off and on the tablet to restore settings. If these steps don't work, the speaker is broken and must be replaced.

The LG G Pad F 8.0 Motherboard Malfunctioned
The piece that holds the essential components of the tablet has been damaged.
Motherboard Overheated
The soldered connections in the motherboard can weaken as a result of overheating. Take out the motherboard and check for any loose connections. If loose connections are found, solder the connections back together. Overheating can also occur when the device has been powered on for too log or when apps use more power for an extended period of time. For this, you need to:
- Close any unused apps.
- Turn off the tablet for an extended period of time.
Device does not power on
The device will not power on even though vibrations and sounds indicate that the device is on. The device may not power on at all even of it is plugged into the charger. in this case, the motherboard must be replaced.
