The power switch does not turn on

Whenever I try to turn the razor on nothing happens.

Device is not charged

The switch will not turn on the razor if it is not charged. Make sure the razor is plugged into a working outlet and has battery life.

Locked switch

The power cannot be turned on when the switch lock lamp blinks. This indicates that the power is locked. Press the power switch for more than two seconds to unlock.

I do not get as close of a shave as before

It used to trim hair short but now it seems to trim less or even not at all.

Too much hair buildup

Turn off the razor and disconnect it from the adapter. Apply water and hand soap to the outer foil. Hold the power switch for more than two seconds. The razor should activate cleaning mode and after 20 seconds will shut off. Take off the outer foil and rinse the inside with water. Dry thoroughly with a dry cloth and put the outer foil back on.

Faulty outer foil

The outer foil may be faulty and needs to be replaced. The replacement guide can be found here Panasonic ARC ES-LT3N Outer Foil Replacement

Dull inner blades

The inner blades may be dull. The replacement guide can be found here: Panasonic ARC ES-LT3N Inner Blades Replacement

The system outer foil gets hot

The top of my razor is abnormally hot.

Damaged or Deformed Outer Foil

If the outer foil is getting hot check to see if it is damaged or deformed. If so it needs to be replaced. The replacement guide can be found here [Link to replacement guide]

The razor stopped functioning even after charge

My razor stopped working even after I left it on the charger.

Under heated device

The razor may not operate if it is in an environment that is lower than 41 degrees F (5 degrees C).

Dead battery

If the battery is at the end of its life than it needs to be replaced. The replacement guide can be found here Panasonic ARC ES-LT3N Battery Replacement

The shaving sensor does not respond

My razor does not respond when I am trimming.

Too much hair

Depending on the thickness of the beard or the amount of hair in the razor head the sensor may not react. Try to clean beard trimmings or reduce facial hair when this happens.

Unrecognized shaving gel

The shaving sensor may not respond to the type of shaving gel or foam used. This is normal.

Low battery

The shaving sensor may not respond if it is at low battery. If this happens recharge the razor in a working outlet.
