Device won’t turn on

Pressing the power button doesn't turn the device on.

Attachment not correctly secured

Make sure attachment is in position and twist it until it clicks. As a safety feature, the device will not turn on if the attachment is not correctly secured.

Isn't plugged in/charged sufficiently

If the device is not plugged in or fully charged it will not work properly. Plug the device into the wall and try to turn it on. Check to make sure charger light is on as an indication that the charger is in working order. Note that the trimmer will not run if it has not charged for at least ten minutes.

Motor pin loose or broken

Check to see if the motor pin is loose or broken. If it is damaged the entire motor will need to be replaced (see guide).

Trimmer making strange noises/is running slow

When turned on the trimmer makes strange noises or runs more slowly than usual.

Attachment not correctly secured

If the attachment feels stuck on the trimmer, then it may not be in the correct position. Try taking the attachment off and putting it back on until you hear a click. The attachments are durable, so they should not break easily.

Motor pin loose or broken

Check to see if the motor pin is loose or broken. This can be done by removing the attachment. If it is damaged the entire motor will need to be replaced (see guide).

Motor broken

If the motor is making strange sounds or device is working slow it may be an indication that a wire within the motor is loose or motor may have gotten wet. In that case replace motor completely (see guide).

Clippers not cutting close enough

Clippers are not trimming to desired length or cutting evenly.

Using incorrect guide length

The trimmer guides are adjustable to different lengths using the button on the back of the trimmer. If the cut isn’t close enough, try adjusting the trimmer guide to a shorter length.

Hair wet or dirty

In order for trimmers to cut close and correctly, the hair must be dry and clean. Wash the area and use a towel to dry. If the hair is thick or curled, comb to detangle. If the hair is too long, trim with scissors.

Device blocked or dirty

Check if the attachment blades are clear of grease and hair. If they are not, simply run under water. Remove the attachment and check if the area where it connects and the motor pin area are clean. If they are not clean, use a dry soft brush to clean them.

Attachment stuck or feels loose

The attachment feels stuck on the trimmer or is not firmly connected.
