Samsung Galaxy Light Troubleshooting
The Samsung Galaxy Light Android Smartphone was announced in October 2013. Troubleshooting this phone is difficult, we have taken the time to simplify this process below.
Screen appears broken or is not working ¶
It is cracked and/or unresponsive.
Phone is out of power ¶
Power the phone off, plug it into a power supply and power it back on.
Screen will not respond to touch or is frozen ¶
Try to restart the phone. If problem still persists, continue to the replacement guide to replace the screen.
Phone screen cracked from accidental impact ¶
See the replacement guide for replacing screen.
Battery is dead or does not hold a charge ¶
Phone does not turn on or stay on long.
Phone battery is dead and needs to be charged ¶
Charge the phone and see if it turns on.
Phone does not hold a charge ¶
Using the current battery follow replacement guide to take the battery out and put it back in. if the problem persists then purchase a new battery. Follow the replacement guide to replace the old battery and dispose of it properly.
Faulty or broken micro USB port ¶
The phone does not recognize charging device.
Charger is broken or damaged ¶
Try to use another micro USB charger, you may be using a damaged or wrong one.
Port appears dirty or the charger does not fit into phone correctly ¶
Refer to the replacement guide to clean out the phone's charging port. If the problem continues move forward with the replacement guide to replace the port.
Camera app does not respond ¶
Camera app crashes or camera does not take pictures.
Camera app does not open ¶
Power phone off and then back on. If this doesn't solve the issue then, factory reset the phone in phone's settings.
Physical camera appears cracked or broken ¶
"The actual camera is broken and needs replacement"

Phone has received water damage or physical damage and the camera is the only thing not working ¶
Refer to the replacement guide to replace the camera.
Phone has received water damage or physical damage and has no sound ¶
No audio/sound is heard when using the phone.
Damaged speaker ¶
First, power the phone off for about 10 seconds, and then power it back on. If that doesn't work, then factory reset the phone in phones settings. Lastly, if the problem continues then see the replacement guide to replace the speakers.
