Device display shows "No Signal" or "Acquiring Signal"

If your device displays that it is off air, first make sure the device is connected to the docking station properly. If the device is properly connected either the selected channel is not currently available or data is being received from the satellite and information will be available in a moment.

"No Antenna" or "Antenna Not Detected" is displayed on device and It will not connect to a channel

Check to ensure the docking station is securely connected to the device. If the connection is secure check if antenna is connected to the docking station. Once you have checked that, turn the device off and back on to reset the device.

If antenna and docking stations are properly connected, check if antenna is obscured, or damaged in any areas, either along the cord or the receptor itself.

If the antenna is bent or broken it may be necessary to replace the antenna.

If the device is well connected to the docking station, and the antenna is in working condition it may be necessary to either replace the docking station or mother board.

Device will not turn on when the power button is pressed

Ensure that the power cable is connected to the docking station properly.

Check to see if the power cable is broken or bent in any areas and check that the light on the power adapter is on. If the power cable is broken, replace the cable.

If the connection and the cable are working it may be necessary to change out the docking station components.

If the cable and docking station are in working condition it may be necessary to change out the mother board .

The device has damage that will not allow it to connect the the docking station

The device may be obstructed from a proper connection due to a bent or broken case at the point of connection.

There is no response when pressing a button / all of the buttons

If buttons do not appear to have physical damage, and will not depress when clicked it may be necessary to dust the buttons and clean with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip.

If buttons are physically damaged they may not work properly at this point it it necessary to replace the devices buttons.

If the buttons are not working and appear to be in proper condition the device may not be receiving proper instructions, due to a malfunction within the motherboard.

The display is cracked, and/or the device is responsive but the display is failing to show proper items and is worn

If the device appears to have a distorted or cracked screen it is necessary to replace the screen so it does not get worse and become a hazard.

If the front casing of the device is cracked in a manner that hinders viewing of the devices screen, it is necessary to replace the front panel/case of the device.

If the buttons are responsive but the display picture is faded, or it has a lasting image burned onto it (a ghost image), then the LED's in the screen might be burnt out. If this happens it is necessary to replace the screen.
