Walkman Screen Freezes
"The Walkman screen is unresponsive even if audio is still playing."
Chip Malfunctioning
Your chip may be malfunctioning. If your chip is malfunctioning, the chip could be wearing out and will not send the correct signals. You may need to reset or replace your chip.
Weather Damage
Moisture may have gotten into your device. You will want to check the moisture strip on the inside of your device for an indication of water damage. If you do have water damage, you may need to replace your chip and battery.
Walkman Will Not Turn On

Your power button may not be connecting to your device. There may be foreign substance blocking the button from reaching and making a solid connection. You will want to take your button apart and clean or replace it.
Computer Will Not Recognize Walkman

File Transfer Cable
Your cable may be damaged. If your cable is damaged, try replacing your cable. If this does not fix the problem, this could be caused by a foreign substance in the device port. Consider thoroughly cleaning or replacing the port on the device.
USB Port
Your computer and device may not be making a connection. This could be caused by a foreign substance in the device USB port. Consider thoroughly cleaning or replacing the USB port on the device.
Screen Cracked
"The screen on the device is cracked or showing damage on display."

Static Noise During Audio/Video Play

Headphone Jack
If you are experiencing static noise during audio or video play, this may be caused by either a foreign substance in the headphone jack or the wires may be shorting inside the device. Consider taking apart and cleaning inside the headphone jack or check for loose wires connecting your headphone jack inside the device.
