Phone does not charge when plugged in
The phone's battery does not recharge when connected to a charging cable and power brick.
Faulty Charging Cable
The charging port may break through physical damage or wear over time. If the phone does not charge because the charging cable is broken, swap the Micro-USB charging cable for a different working Micro-USB charging cable.
Faulty Power Brick
The power brick may break through physical damage or wear over time. If the phone does not charge because the power brick is broken, swap the USB power brick for a different working USB power brick.
Faulty Phone Battery
Plug in another device into the charging cable. If the device charges, it is likely that the phone's battery is faulty. Swap the battery using this guide.
Faulty Charging Port
If the phone does not charge after a battery replacement, the charging port is likely broken. If the charging port looks disfigured, it may also be broken. Replace the Micro-USB charging port with this guide.
The screen does not respond when stimulated by the touch of a finger.
When the phone gets too hot, the screen may become unresponsive. If the phone feels too hot, lower the temperature of the phone by placing the phone in a cooler environment.
Software errors may be the reason the phone to be unresponsive to touch. Restarting the device will reset the software and the touch screen may work after the phone restarts. To restart the phone, hold the power button for 10 seconds. There should be a vibration as the phone restarts.
The digitizer underneath the glass LCD display converts touch to signals that are send to the motherboard. A broken digitizer means an unresponsive screen. The screen is composed of the digitizer and LCD display. Often times, when the LCD display cracks, the digiziter breaks as well. Replace the screen using this guide.
No Audio Through Headphones
There is no sound through headphones when the 3.5mm stereo jack of the headphone is plugged into the 3.5mm headphone jack on the phone.
Dirty Headphone Jack
When the headphone jack on the phone is dirty, there can be a poor connection between the headphones and the phone. Take a dry Q-tip and gently clean the headphone jack.
The headphones themselves may be broken. Test the headphones on another device to check if they are working.
Broken Headphone Jack Port
The headphone jack port itself on the phone may be broken. Test a working pair of headphones on the phone to ensure the headphone jack is broken. Replace the headphone jack using this guide.
The camera takes blurry photos.
Out of Focus
The camera may be out of focus as it is taking the picture. To focus the camera, tap the desired location on the screen to get the camera to focus on that spot.
The camera has to be exposed to light for a certain amount of time to take a photo. When there is not enough light, the photo may be blurry. Adjust the lighting of the photo to reduce blurriness.
Dirty Camera Lens
The phone's camera lens may be smudged by dirt or fingerprints and cause blurry pictures. If the lens looks dirty, wipe the camera lens with a microfiber cloth. Do not use any industrial cleaning solutions.
Dust Inside Camera Lens
Dust may enter the camera lens and cause blurry pictures. If wiping the camera lens does not get rid of the dirty, dust may have entered the camera lens. Replace the front camera using this guide. Replace the rear camera using this guide.

Too Many Applications Running
When there are too many applications open or running in the background at the same time, the phone will slow down. Tap the recent button on the bottom of the phone, indicated by three lines, and swipe away applications to close them.
