I had the same exact problem, you probably fixed it or got a new phone already but those of you who are facing this problem, I may have a solution. **I am not responsible for any damage that may occur, use at your own risk**.. What I did was go out and look to buy 99% alcohol (the medicinal stuff), but the most that I could find was 91% and that worked for me so you can try it.. But just briefly from the start, do not turn on your phone if it is wet still, leave it off, do not plug it in or anything, this is tempting but it can ruin your phone for good. So leave it off, atleast until dry, to avoid a short circuit. Leave it in a zip loc bag of uncooked rice or something.. Anyways, I pried off the back cover of my LG g2 (you can find out more about doing this on YouTube or other sources if you're not sure), and then I removed the little plastic plate on top with the removal of I believe 5 or 6 white screws and one small black screw.. Do the same with the bottom few acres.. Watch this youtube video up until about 5 minutes or so if you need help LG G2 Screen Repair & Disassemble: http://youtu.be/hPFBA24dR1w ..... Anyways, disconnect most of the connections you can find, and take a cotton earpick and dap it in your alcohol a little bit and dap those connections, let them dry a little and then secure them back on.. I screwed everything back together, said a short prayer telling God why I need this phone and the positive purposes it'd serve me, pressed the power button, and I the display worked!
