Hi everyone I had the same problem with my son's system but finally I found the issue after tried many different things what I did I use original  charger but I only use different cable to connect from the box to the PSVITA be finally is working, if doesn't work try with a new charger before think to replace the battery, batteries if this kind are very rarely to have failures
