@tanker151, Travis, Have the car scanned for trouble codes as a first step, could have an error even if engine light not on. Some of the auto parts suppliers offer free code reading like Pepboys, Nappa, Advanced auto parts,etc and some of the guys are very knowledgeable and may have seen the issue often and put you on the right track.
Could be low coolant, air in the cooling system(bleed system), faulty temp. sensor, vacuum leaks(spray some aerosol starter fluid around base of intake/ throttle body, vacuum lines/etc.), if engine rev's even out or change noticeably there is the leak. Recheck a dirty/sticking IAC., is new TPS calibrated(link 1 below). Check the 2nd link for more trouble shooting tips. Good luck.
