Thinkpad a21 works only with externally charged battery

Hi, im having a problem with an ibm thinkpad a21m, which only turns on if i charge the battery on another thinkpad (same model), if i use the charger nothing happens, btw the charger works fine, its the one i use in the other thinkpad, i wonder what could be happening?, btw all the fuses on the mother were checked and works fine. Any clue or help plz!
