LVDS panel instead of LM171W02-A4K2

Hi,

I’ve an old iMac 17” A1058 with a damaged LM171W02-A4K2 LCD panel using TMDS pin configuration. I saw that using differant panels for Intel iMac was discussed and solved before but not for G5 Power oc iMac. Is it possible to use a LVDS panel such as LP171WX2 with modifing the pin configuration and EEPROM ?
