Menu stuck on language preference

When I power up my Sony Cyber-Shot W800 it displays the language preference on the LCD and will not move to any other menu selection.   I’ve tried to reboot by taking out the battery and holding the power button down for 15 seconds, but nothing seems to help.   What else can I do?
