Hello,

I also have this issue, I installed a 120GB SSD into my early 2011 MacBook Pro 13inch

I have tried the following

1) internet recovery, same issue as Stuart

2) made a bootable USB with High Sierra in it (would not install onto MacBook)

Any ideas? Thanks in advance,
