Looking for information on the display backlight

I have a general idea how LCD backlights work but am no EE or even an electronics tech.  I’m looking for images, diagrams, or schematics on the Crosley CR248 to aid in troubleshooting and, hopefully, repairing.[br]

Any general advice would be appreciated as well…never know what turns out to be really helpful.
