I need more context to answer you question. how much was the battery percentage?  have you replaced the battery, as its around 12-13 years old and is definitely due for a battery replacement. how long where you using it as you may have overworked it and you unplugged it and it was seconds from dying and did so. it also could have a battery issues, which need to be dealt with ASAP.
