Webcam and ambient light sensor not working

The webcam and ambient light sensor were not working on my unit, even after getting the display replaced with a known good used display, it is still not working on my unit. Would this be a logic board issue or could the small chance that the one removable cable connecting the logic board to the display board be bad? Currently at a loss here.
