I have found that the hinge tightens itself up when opening and closing so i got a socket on the nut and loosened the nut off so the hinge was much looser and stopped the plastic from breaking it is a flaw as the more you open and close it the more it tightens up !!!

you have to open up the hinge plastic and get a socket in there to turn it to loosen it as the image shows the nut
