I have a similar problem, just bought this Weochi Video Camera Camcorder 4K 64MP 60FPS Dual Lens Camera with Wireless Mic, and the USB on the camera seems defective, just a little shake and you lose the connection. When this happens, the screen goes and stays black and the there is no way to shut it off, except for removing the battery. But the Problem with that is when you do so you also erase the date and time set and have to reset it all over again. I know this isn't a top end Camera, they presently list it at $99.99, but so far I have not seen very much desirable for this! The Pictures do not even look as good as my old iPhone SE, which might be due to some further adjustments, or having to use the built-in light compensator. But the Camera apparently does not have a backup battery built in to retain the date and time when the removable batter is removed. I don't know if all of these cheap Cameras are like that, or not. Besides my old iPhone, I had been using the VHS styles of Video Camera's for decades and although their pictures are not as high resolution, they were all much easier to use and adjust, plus built a lot sturdier! I haven't been able to find a website for the Weochi brand and the only help and support I can find for it are like on this site. Also, this Camera does not seem to have a way, or buttons to shut the date and time off so you do not have to record your entire video with it showing. I sure miss my old VHS style Video Cameras, all you had to do was press a soft touch button to get them to do whatever you wanted. I could care less about the flip out view screen, that's handy if you want to video, or take pictures of yourself, which is not what I use it for! My old VHS Recorders were not that much bigger than this new cheapy, except for the first one back in the 1980's, it was a two piece, a big camera you held with a separate recorder wired to it that you used a shoulder strap to carry that part around. And even the old VHS ones Zoom function was a lot better than what I have experienced on this so called 21X that is on the new digital camera.
