But I suspect  a slightly different version for the mid 2011 model.

NO LUCK WITH THAT DISPLAY : the supplier couldn't send it, explaining "he didn't found the model". Alibaba.com is a big mess. But Escrow.com did the refund seamlessly.

I recommend using Escrow.com and not something else.
