Need Help With HP 41C Calculator Repair

Does anyone know where I might be able to get an old HP 41C Calculator repaired or where I might find information on repairing it myself. Hewlett Packard quit making these probably 20 or so years ago. I have had this one since somewhere around 1980 and it has worked until about 6 or 7 years ago. Since it quit working I have not been able to locate anyone that repairs them. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I bought my HP-41C in 1980 while I was in college. I bought the memory modules, advanced math pack, and the time module. Such a cool product, at the time revolutionary. Now it’s an antique! But mine still works, though Size N alkaline don’t last as long as they used to, and the time module is kaput. I wish I could help but I don’t know if spare parts.

hi ralph, i found some nice stuff on the first one

there is a repair section: http://www.hp41.org/LibView.cfm?Command=... and in the library i've seen many hp internals, like service manuals and schematics.

Hi, OK I see what you are talking about. What stopped me was the login requirement. I don't like to do that unless I'm going to be using the site regularly. Ralph
