Replacement LCD Touch Screen

THIS GUIDE will assist you in opening up the BB.

It looks to me that the digitiser/touchscreen is part of the LCD so you probably need to replace that entire assembly

The display unit is ultra thin, a feat achieved by some serious fusing. The digitizer is applied directly to the glass and fused in turn to the LCD.

I also cracked my LCD screen, resulting in an intangible interface. This is because Blackberry only uses one layer of screen, whereas Apple uses two layers so that the phone can still be used after being cracked. I tried to replace it myself but it turns out you need very specific tools to separate the LCD from the screen. I ended up doing more damage than repair by trying to just replace the screen. A full replacement is needed unfortunately. It cost me about a hundred dollars.

Touch screen and digitizer..they come as 1 unit..roughly 15 $...yes 15...they're is step by step you tube repair vid...you also need the tiny screwdriver s too.

i had a problem with switch on button...my BB cannot be switched on...what should i do?

My bb had fallen off in water.. it can switch on now. But on its touch screen somewhere it can not be touched

.. pls suggest me
