I have the following problem with Linksys router wtr54gl: after an unsuccessful attempt to install new software, I have no communication with the Internet and can not reset the router to factory settings.
Expect some advice.

You must connect to the router via Ethernet cable for setup/upgrade. If you pooched the upgrade buy a new router... software fixes/hacks are not really our thing here.

Try by resetting your router and re-configure it again. Please note that your all saved setting shall gone once you have done hard reset so i would suggest if your using ADSL then get your PPPoE account setting from your ISP first and then do this.

Oghi Boev, when you say "attempt to install new software" are you referring to installing new firmware for your router? How did it fail? How did you try to do it?
