I bought new colored cartridge and worked great for one day and now everything printing out yellow

Try wiping the new cartridge bottom (where the ink spits out) with wet soft tissue. Maybe some of the jets are clogged up. If that doesn't work, get another color cartridge.

Try steaming bottom of new cartridge over teapot , no gloves , if it's too hot you are too close, dry and replace.
