will not charge/ and goes dead when in use

GPS will not charge, if I have to change battery where do i get one and how much.

When I'm using my GPS on the road it goes dead. I have to restart it

The Tomtom has been in the car for many months. The lights in car and on unit stay on.

james, either one of those errors sound like a battery issue. I would start by replacing the battery. Here is how to replace it, and a new battery can be bought at places like this, and many others. Hope this helps, good luck.
