The camera turns on, and the LCD lights up, but only white. No image. No image for taking pictures, or reviewing. The camera will take a picture. I did this, then reviewed the memory card in another camera. But nothing shows up on the camera's LCD. It's obviously ON, but just plain white screen.

Bob Thommes Very old question and this is only for completion sake. The white screen is an indication that your backlight comes on but receives no video signal. Try a new LCD and check the ribbon cables as well as the connectors on the circuit board.
