My samsung camera DV 150F as soon as i press the power button LENS opens & close same time and follow message appears on screenTHE ZOOM DIDNT OPERATE NORMALLY INSERT THE BATTERY AGAIN AND TURN THE CAMERA ON IF NOT WORK CONTACT THE SERVICE CENTRE.

Raza, first of course you want to follow the instructions given to you regarding the battery. If that does not work, it sounds like you are having issues with your lens not properly extending. You could try and clean it, check to see if it looks center when retracted. Check on here for more information.

I tried the paper shim going around between two lenses and body and lens, compressed air, allowing small amount of alcohol on q-tip on gap - and nothing would get my lens to open. Then I held in flat between my two hands and "gently" gave it a very light twisting diagonally, once in each direction. Hit the power button and it works fine now. As my gaffer used to say, "Don't force it! Get a bigger hammer!"

Try removing the battery exactly as the lens comes out.. it worked for me while all the other solutions failed.
