How do I develop the picture?

I have a polaroid land camera and I don't understand what I have to do to make the picture develop? Should I shake it or what?

Step 1: Pull the white tab all the way out of the camera to expose the yellow tab labeled “pull” (Note: if you can see both a yellow and white tab, pull the yellow tab. Never pull the white tab when both are exposed, as this can ruin the entire film pack)

Step 2: Pull the yellow tab straight out of the camera without hesitation and with a little bit of speed. This will start the development process.

Step 3: Make sure to hold the tab only by the yellow tip and do not touch the white paper (don't bend it or shake it either!). Allow photo to develop for recommended time.

Step 4: After the full development time, quickly pull the print away from the white paper, starting near the yellow tab. Do not start from the other end, this will cause developer’s chemicals to leak on your fingers. Do not touch the face of the print.

Step 5: Color photos need to be mounted and black and white photos should be coated. This will preserve them longer.
